This blog is to give you all an idea of some of the activity that goes on behind the scenes to keep the ski team running - a day to day record of what the Team Manager is currently working on.
Topic for today: Snowboarders - Adaptive snowboarding racing, "Para-Snowboarding" is on the way to becoming a paralympic sport. You can read up about it here. As with some other sports, Para-Snowboard does not have a National Governing Body. DSUK are now working to be the representative NGB for this sport to help it develop and begin to lay the foundations of a future pathway for the sport.
We hope that by getting into the sport at an early stage we will be able to help the athletes progress into competition and become a world class nation.
